Sypes is clear... Again.

Sypes is grippy and completely ridable right now.

Two minor issues:

1. The first creek crossing is HUGE right now. I tried to blow through it and ended up in the middle halfway up to my knees in FREEZING cold water. It is beyond cold.

2. There was a small rock slide in the rocky area (who would have guessed). It's small and easy to get over.

Middle cottonwood is clear for at least a couple miles. I turned around at the 4th creek crossing because I didn't feel like taking my shoes off and wading again. The 3rd creek crossing is Huge! Knee deep wading and pretty intense. The trail resembles a stream bed now more then ever too.

I'd be happy to contribute to this blog if someone wants to add me. I tend to get out a lot.

Oh- and as far as that rocky section goes, the part that looks like there's always rocks falling there?
Rocks always fall there. Capn. E and I almost got tagged by a 45-50 lb boulder there a few years ago. You've been warned.
